The proper alignment of your production machinery is a critical factor in maintaining optimum equipment performance and high product quality. Within a blown film line there are several areas where the misalignment of your equipment can cause significant increases in scrap and machinery wear. The precision alignment of your extruder barrel, screw, die, nip rolls, film rolls, winders and Flexo presses can greatly increase productivity, reduce waste and extend the life of your equipment.

The misalignment of your extruder barrel and screw can be caused by a number of factors including maintenance procedures, barrel and gear box/motor installations and machinery conversions and upgrades.

Blown Film Line Alignment - Die, Rolls, Winders & Flexo Presses
Precision alignment of all other Blown Film Line production equipment can be essential to producing the quality of film customers demand.

Misalignment of the die with the tower can cause the film to shrink or stretch in multiple directions causing non uniform product quality. If the rolls in any given section are out of alignment, the result could be wrinkled edges, slower production rates and downtime. Misalignment of the rolls in the Flexo presses can cause mis-registration and blurred images.
