Laser trackers are portable, contact measurement systems, which use laser
technology to accurately measure large pieces of equipment, parts and
tooling across a wide range of industrial applications.
Our system measures 3-D coordinates with its laser by following a mirrored
spherical probe. It has a 35 meter range, achieves 25 micron 3-D single-point
accuracy, and runs in two-distance measurement modes: Absolute Distance
Measurement and Interferometer while reporting the 3-D position of the
probe in real-time.
Laser Tracker Services
Coordinate Measurement
OASIS specializes in coordinate measurement.
Whether your application calls for jig and/or die set-up, equipment calibration,
process control or quality assurance, OASIS
will provide you with the utmost in metrology service customized to your
needs.
Reverse Engineering and Quality Control
The OASIS laser tracker can reverse engineer
large or small parts and provide you with an editable CAD file. The cost
savings of measuring and creating the 3-D model versus manually measuring
every detail of the part can be substantial. Likewise, your parts can
be compared to CAD files directly by our software for real-time QC. Catching
errors before, or while in production can avoid costly rework or warranty
issues.
Alignment
OASIS offers laser tracker inspection
and alignment services for any application or process requiring accurate
3-Dimensional measurement. We can inspect your equipment and perform the
measurement portion of an alignment or we can complete the project
turnkey. Each project is followed by a comprehensive report either in
hard copy or electronic format, depicting the 3-D model of the machine
and the alignment conditions of the affected components.
Laser trackers perform 3-D measurements with a high degree of precision
and speed. Their ability to capture coordinate measurements, scan surfaces,
and interpret 3D shapes with respect to any chosen coordinate system,
makes it the most powerful tool in the metrology service industry.
If your needs are for coordinate measurement, quality control, measurement
of complex shapes and surfaces, or reverse engineering, the laser tracker
is the ideal tool to provide this service.
